Not a great session. Proper windy and sunny, but port tack which just felt plain wierd. Cold as well. Went to Surfladle beforehand to buy a new winter suit but they didn't have any in my size. Could be another month until they do.... So had to go out in the summer suit which was just not enough rubber for the conditions.

Couldn't gybe for toffee on the outside, despite it being my better side. Gybes on the inside were very nice though. Maybe going for starboard to port gybes in the more difficult outside chop has perfected by technique better than on my port to starboard gybes, which can normally be done in flat water on the inside. Was constantly spinning when sailing/jumping over the swells on the way out - I'm just far too heavy on my back foot in port tack conditions on the way out, just soooo not used to it.

Only stayed out for about half-an-hour - just wasn't having a good session - port tack is div - overpowered as well, should have been on the Quatro - and was getting chuffing cold in my summer suit. 3 stars (just) because it was windy and sunny, and because my gybes on the inside were damn good.

Bring back the SW'lies!!! And get me a steamer!!!
